Throughout the past couple of months, the team here has been mentioning senior care franchising on and off throughout; the blogs, emails, and social posts; and it’s for a really excellent reason. This industry, and their related franchises, are absolutely exploding and I only see great things to come out of opportunities in the senior care franchising world for at least the next 20 or 25 years, but very likely much longer!

That said, senior care franchising isn’t for everyone, and like I always say, it’s important to have a franchise coach along with you in your journey because these franchising pitfalls aren’t easily visible without someone who’s “been there and done that” on your side to help you out and see those “landmines” before you step on them.

So, with all that being said let’s talk for a couple of minutes about some of the questions you should ask yourself before investing in a senior care franchising.


Note: These are all questions I will ask you as your franchise coach, but I’ll go far more in-depth and the work we’ll do together is far more comprehensive. This is a good foundational starting point though, and it’ll help you as an investor understand what makes senior care franchising such a great opportunity, as well as how you could fit into that opportunity should you choose to make the investment.


What Lifestyle Do You Want?

The first question you should ask yourself is what you want out of your life and your lifestyle. This is always foundational when it comes to franchising opportunities, and it’s that way because if you have a great business opportunity but you’re miserable in life, it’s not worth it. However, if you set yourself up with a great business venture, and you have the lifestyle that you want, that’s a recipe for true success!

You need to ask yourself whether the lifestyle of a senior care franchisee is for you. These franchise opportunities require the owners and the team to be profoundly invested in the well-being of their customers (i.e. seniors and retirees). It’s your opportunity here to care for others, nurture them, and help them live out their golden years in the best health and as comfortable as possible. It’s such an amazing opportunity for you to give to other people, especially in a way that very few others can. So, if you’re looking for a franchise that is a sincere opportunity to give back to others, this is an excellent opportunity to consider. Just ask yourself whether or not you’re the type of person that is good at, and also enjoys, caring for other people.

Do You Have Funding and Capital Ready to Go?

The next question you need to ask yourself is whether or not you have the funds available to purchase a franchise opportunity at this level. As you build your franchise, you will need to have living expenses for the first year allocated in addition to your total investment in the franchise.

Are There Opportunities in Areas I Want?

The next question you should ask yourself about investing in senior care franchise opportunities is what opportunities are available in your area versus opportunities that are only available outside of where you currently live. Again, this is something that we cover very early on in our work together, should you contact me, but in essence, I would want to make sure that where you want to live and conduct business is in alignment with solid franchise opportunities.
